The CMA will host special extended hours to celebrate the holiday season and offer visitors more opportunities to see two current exhibitions, Michelangelo: Mind of the Master and Tiffany in Bloom: Stained Glass Lamps of Louis Comfort Tiffany. Also available: a Tiffany-inspired pop-up bar and a prix fixe menu inspired by Mind of the Master in Provenance restaurant.
We ask that you make a gift to the CMA & make art matter. Your contribution helps support our mission—to create transformative experiences through art, for the benefit of all the people forever. Thank you.
View a vivid display of 20 Tiffany lamps recently acquired through a generous bequest to the museum. Focusing on Louis Comfort Tiffany’s passion for stained glass as a way to bring Nature’s splendid color into the home, this exhibition explores Tiffany’s vivid designs in relation to emerging artistic and craft movements at the turn of the 20th century.
Come explore ARTLENS Gallery with your family and engage with 21 artworks from across the CMA’s collection through new technology including gesture-based 3-D artwork models, the ability to scan all artworks for more information through ArtLens App, and new visitor-generated content on the digital beacon.
