Description

The popularity of billiard games reached a peak during the 1920s, at which time there were more than 4,000 private and public poolrooms operating in New York City alone, and more than 40,000 nationwide. Bellows played billiards at the famed Players Club, the National Arts Club, and the Salmagundi Art Club, all in New York.
