Description

Victor Zevallos Sullón started selling inflatable toys on the streets of Lima at age 9. He later inherited the business from his father, who was one of the first people to sell this type of toy, and now has several stands. The artist wanted workers like Sullón, who serve the tourists and wealthy Lima residents of the upscale Miraflores area, to be seen as individuals, so he handwrote their life stories around their portraits.
