About The Event

Artist Glenn Ligon speaks about his recent work, including Come Out, a series of black-and-white silkscreen paintings, the first of which debuted at Thomas Dane in London last year and more recent versions of which are included in the 2015 Venice Biennale, and Encounter and Collisions, a curatorial project organized with Nottingham Contemporary and Tate Liverpool. Inspired by Yourself in the World (2011), a collection of Ligon's previous writing on other artists, the exhibition and accompanying catalogue present a range of his artistic and literary influences alongside his own work.

Free; reservations recommended.
