Directed by Perry Miller Adato. One of the most celebrated films by Adato—the pioneering TV documentary producer and director who died in September at age 97—was also the only portrait of Georgia O’Keeffe allowed by the artist. Shot in and around the painter’s studio in New Mexico, the movie captures the then 88-year-old O’Keeffe reflecting on her life and work and her marriage to Alfred Stieglitz. (USA, 1977, color, video, 60 min.)
Admission $10, CMA members $7
JUST ADDED: After the film on Tuesday, Jan 22, enjoy a Q&A with Georgia O’Keeffe: Living Modern exhibition curator Mark Cole.
